Arts

Arts in the Community encourages members  to foster and support arts activities.

Short Story and Poetry Contests encourage members to develop creative writing skills and recognizes their achievements.  

Photography Contests encourage members' artistic expression and recognize members' achievements in photography. 

Conservation

Beautification encourages members to participate in community beautification programs. 

Resource Conservation educates members on the importance of preserving natural resources.

Education

Literacy encourages members to address youth and adult literacy concerns.  

Lifelong Learning encourages members to continue education through self-directed study and continuing education.  Members may join the honorary educational sorority Epsilon Sigma Omnicron to continue their education through planned reading. 

Home Life

Helping Hands  educates members on organizations that improve the life of those in need and provides opportunities to offer support.

Dollars and Sense educates members on retirement planning as well as credit checking, identity theft, social security and giving wisely.  

Women's Health  educates members on today's medical problems and treatments.

International Affairs

Reaching Out Internationally educates members on global needs and provides opportunities to offer support.

United Nation Program educates members and others about UN programs for women and children and supports the GFWC's presence as a UN Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) observer.

 

Public Affairs

Citizenship Program educates  members about the importance of citizenship, veteran's affairs and historic preservation.

Safety educates members about community, home and vehicle safety issues and encourages action on these issues.
