12th Annual "Honor Your Doctor" Luncheon

The 12th Annual "Honor Your Doctor" Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Boca West Country Club.  The proceeds of the luncheon provide scholarships for the students in the medical field at the Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University and Palm Beach Community College campuses. 

At the 11th Annual luncheon this March, Dr. John Strobis was named the 2009 Doctor of Distinction and past President Virginia Smith was honored for her work in starting the Doctors' Luncheon and Scholarship program.  Her daughter, Linda Costa, accepted a scrapbook and flowers on her behalf. 

FAU College of Science

A tour of the college facility was held on November 13, 2009.   This tour included presentations on the research projects being done on childhood development, aging, and the ecology.  

Installation Luncheon

The Installation of Officers and Directors was held Monday, May 4, 2009 at the Top of the Bridge in Boca.  A fashion show with fashions provided by Ruth David and modeled by the members was enjoyed by the club.
